About Jennifer Morgan |
|
Jennifer is, as you might guess, an avid knitter and reader. Who says you can’t put an English degree to work in a practical application? Never one to consider herself particularly creative, nonetheless she has discovered an aptitude for putting colors together in combinations that seem to attract the attention of knitters looking to express their combined love of knitting and literature.
Jennifer knit her first sock in 2006, using the instructions in Sensational Knitted Socks by Charlene Schurch, and launched herself into a full-on sock obsession. She branched out into dyeing in 2007 and designed her first sock pattern (Oh, Tannenbaum!) at the end of that year, and she’s been slowly coaxing her little business along in fits and starts since then.
When not knitting, dyeing, or designing, Jennifer is a freelance editor, a Girl Scout leader, a horseback rider, and mom of two. She sometimes chafes at having to give up knitting time to tend to pesky responsibilities like chores, waiting for children, or attending meetings, but she finds that learning how to combine knitting with these unpleasantries has quite improved them. |
